Where your data lives (and where it doesn't go)
A plain, specific answer to a fair question — what VIGPT stores, where it's kept, what leaves our servers to answer you, and what we never do with your data.

When you type something personal into an AI app, a fair question is: where does this go? Here's the honest, specific answer for VIGPT — what we store, where, what leaves our servers and why, and what never happens to it.
Your phone number is only for signing in
Sign-in is an Iranian phone number plus a one-time code (OTP) sent by SMS. No email, no password, no national ID, no bank or card number. The phone number does one job: it proves the account is yours. That's the whole of it.
Your account, chats, and files stay on servers in Iran
Your account information, chat history, and uploaded files are stored on servers located in Iran. When you close the app and come back a week later, your conversations are there because they're kept on our own servers — not scattered across services abroad.
To answer you, your message goes to a model provider
This is the one part that leaves our servers, and it's worth being clear about. VIGPT doesn't run the AI models itself. When you send a message, its text — and any file you attached — is forwarded to the third-party provider behind the model that's answering you. That's how the answer gets generated; it's inherent to how the service works.
The providers we use may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, and Mistral AI. Which one handles a given message depends on the model — the one you pinned, or the one Auto picked for you. Each provider handles that input under its own privacy policy.
One thing to note: this covers message content only. Your account details and stored history don't go to these providers — just the message being answered.
What we don't do with your data
The list is short, and all of it holds:
- We don't train our own models on your conversations, files, or personal information.
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't use it for advertising.
How a third-party provider treats a message sent to it for an answer is governed by that provider's policy. But on our side, none of the above happens.
You can delete all of it
Two controls, both yours:
- Delete all chats. Settings → Delete all chats. It's immediate.
- Delete your account. Email support@vigpt.ai with the subject line "Account deletion request." We process it within 30 days and confirm by email. (Some payment and transaction records may be kept longer where Iranian financial law requires it.)
The eNamad mark
VIGPT holds the Iranian Electronic Trust Symbol (eNamad / نماد اعتماد الکترونیکی) — the trust badge issued to verified Iranian online businesses. It's one more way to check that there's a real, accountable company behind the app.
In short
Your phone number signs you in and nothing more. Your account, chats, and files live on servers in Iran. The message you send goes to a model provider so it can be answered — and that's the only thing that leaves. No training on your data, no selling, no ads. And whenever you want, you can clear every chat or close the account entirely. The full details are in the privacy policy.
